Printed on 100% Organic Cotton Using Eco-Friendly Water Based Inks, T-Shirt
Phenoms Make a Statement While Raising Some Loot for Global Green USA

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Last Wednesday in
Hollywood at Global Green USA's (http://www.globalgreen.org) Pre Oscar Party, the
team from Local Celebrity (http://www.localcelebrity.com) launched a new tee to
their line of hits. This shirt, however, is part of a campaign which Local
Celebrity began working on last year in an effort to raise awareness and
money for a cause which the they feel needs more attention. The campaign is
"Respect Your Mother," with reference to Mother Nature. The message is
serious, but of course the t-shirt is fun and sparks conversation, which is
what Local Celebrity is known worldwide for. "We hope to use our humor and
ability to connect with pop-culture to create as much awareness as
possible," says Don Calder, President of Local Celebrity. "We are on the
9th floor of our office building, facing the Hollywood Hills, which is a
beautiful view on the days that we can actually see anything. If it is a
clear day we can look out of our office window and see the Hollywood sign,
but on some days when the smog shifts all you can see is funk-nastyness --
scary!"
The shirts will be available for men and women and sold online this
week at localcelebrity.com and exclusively at Kitson in Los Angeles
(http://www.shopkitson.com) early March for $28.00. The Respect Your Mother shirts
are printed on 100% certified organic cotton, which costs significantly
more to manufacture, but the good people at Local Celebrity don't want
their customers to pay more for these shirts so they are going to absorb
the extra production cost. Proceeds from the RYM shirts will be donated to
Global Green USA in an effort to help fight global warming.
