LA's Top Basketball Players to Compete for Roster Spots
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- A group of celebrity owners today
announced the formation of "The Hollywood Fame," a new team that will join
the growing American Basketball Association. Owners of "The Hollywood Fame"
include AJ Discala, CEO of Brax Capital Group, Nick Lachey, Geoff Stults
("7th Heaven" and "The Break-Up"), Stacy Keibler ("Dancing With the
Stars"), former NBA legend John Salley, former MLB All-Star Brady Anderson,
NFL quarterback Kyle Boller of the Baltimore Ravens and NASCAR's Brian
Vickers. "The Hollywood Fame" will kick-off its inaugural season starting
this November with home games to be played at The Los Angeles Sports Arena.

Tryouts will be held on August 29, 2006 from 9:30am-1:30pm (PDT) at the
Pan Pacific Recreation Center in Los Angeles to recruit professional
basketball players to join the elite squad. Many of the celebrity owners
will be on hand to take part in the player recruiting process and show
their support for the team. Additional tryouts will be held in September to
fill the remaining player spots and for "The Hollywood Fame" official team
cheerleaders.
